Nominees Announced for 2016 Transgender Erotica Awards

Los Angeles, CA – Nominees for the 2016 Transgender Erotica Awards were announced this week and posted online at http://www.theteashow.com.

“It’s the most exciting time of our calendar but also the most tiring,” said Grooby owner Steven Grooby.  “There have been so many fantastic models, scenes and productions over the past 12 months across the trans niche, that to narrow down all the pre-nominations and suggestions into more concise list is exhausting. I think the list this year is amazing and unlike other years where there have been stand-out models whom we could guess would win, this year it’s a lot more level with the competition going to be harder.  I think we’ll be in for some surprises and our judges this year have a hard job ahead of them.”

This year there are over 20 awards to be presented, including the addition of new categories: Best Non-TS Performer Female, FTM Best New Face, and Grooby Girl. Categories will be voted on by a panel of judges, fans, or chosen by a sponsor.

The Transgender Erotica Awards, now in its eighth year, celebrates the accomplishments of the trans adult industry and its performers. Due to its growing popularity, the TEAs have been expanded into a three day event kicking off with a daytime TEA Con for fans on Saturday, the Awards on Sunday, and the official After Party on Monday.
