Hate Crime Conviction For Transgender Murder Case

This is an amazing conviction that will hopefully push forward the movement for equal rights for all Americans regardless of sexual orientation. We here at Grooby Productions applaud this Decision, the deliberating Jury, the Prosecutors, the Judge, and all other persons involved in helping this verdict come about. This was a heinous crime and the verdict of life without parole based upon ‘bias motivated crime’ will hopefully serve as a deterrent for those seeking to act out violently on their own insecurities about sexuality. Our continued thoughts go with the family and loved ones of the victim, Angie Zapata, and we wish this verdict helps bring a small amount of closure to this sad and tragic chapter in their lives.
