At the behest of CCBill, VP Douglas Wicks, I finally made it to The Phoenix Forum, in Scottsdale, AZ last April and pleasantly discovered a meeting in which adult webmasters, far from being secretive about their marketing and sales techniques were only too happy to share them. As far as I can ascertain, we were the only representation from the transsexual sector even though practically every other genre a sub-genre was there.

This year, GroobyBucks is sponsoring the forum. We will be promoting our excellent affiliate program as well as the whole shemale genre. Our motto for the show will be “Sell Shemale” and we will be pushing our own sites as well as other sites where we get a webmasters, affiliate sale.

I feel that the transgender market hasn’t been fully embraced by webmasters working in the other fetishes. If somebody specialises in “teen” then they should try selling a page of teen shemales. The cross-over from straight Black sites to Black Tgirls has been tested and documented, Asian sites should give ladyboy sites a try. Practically every genre and fetish in straight porn, has it’s like in transsexual porn – from ethnic diversities, to S&M, gaping, blondes, girl next door, goths, etc. and every webmaster promoting straight porn owes it to himself to try some crossover pages in the transsexual/shemale market. It converts and it retains.

I urge all webmasters, whether new to the game or industry stalwarts, to invest a couple of days at this Forum. After nine years in the industry, I thought I knew it all … until I wentt to last years Forum. I spent the remainder of 2006 developing ideas given at the Forum and improving on what I discovered was our much lacking affiliate program. The value of knowledge I was given, for free, last year, does have a dollar amount – it’s the amount that sales have risen above the norm in 2006.
