• Want to be a photographer of Tgirls?

  Grooby Productions is opening it’s books in many states and countries looking for new photographers, who are capabable of meeting and working with new transgender talent and getting high quality photo and video shoots.

  We’re open to all areas EXCEPT Los Angeles/San Diego, New York City & State, Boston, Atlanta, Seattle/Portland, Philadelphia, Toronto/Montreal, Thailand, Philippines, Brazil, Argentina - where we already have photographers working with us.  

  Although many areas don’t have many girls, even if there are the occasional few in your area, you might enjoy shooting for us - making some pocket money and having some fun. We are looking only for people who can shoot professional style photos and video - this doesn’t mean you have to be a professional photographer but you must know how to compose a photo, light it decently and be able to work with the models. Specifically, I’d love a permament photographer in San Francisco, FLORIDA, Australia, South Africa, Mexico, Chicago, Detroit & Las Vegas.

• Spain eases laws on Transexuals

  “Spain eases law for transsexuals
  Spain has passed a law allowing transsexuals who have not had a sex change to alter their gender on birth certificates and other documents.

  Only a third of Spain’s 8,000 transsexuals opt for surgery to realign their gender.

  Many transsexuals who do not look like the sex on their identification face ridicule, discrimination and unemployment, activists say.

  The governing Socialists say the new law will give them back their dignity.

  Alec Cassanova, of the National Federation for Lesbians, Gays and Transsexuals, told the BBC: “Transsexuals who cannot go through surgery due to health reasons…they will finally be granted this right.”"

  Let’s see if other countries can adopt a more lenient approach, although Spain may be more of a socialist country, it is still one of the bastions of Catholicism and if a law, which aides so many people with no cost to the average person, can be passed here then surely some of the countries which claim to be more liberal and less invested in religion, should be able to do the same.

• Miriam Extravaganza latest news.

  As promised the latest news on Miriam but first a retraction, I in-correctly reported that Miriam starred in a Joey Silvera DVD , thankyou Bob for the correction.

  Miriam is conscious and will be going in for an orthopedic operation on her leg to try and limit the possibility of her not being able to walk again.  She is conscious and has friends with her but mentally very emotional after the ordeal.  More as we get it…

• Miriam Extravaganza hospitalised after assault.

  Model, porn star and transsexual TV celebrity Miriam Extravaganza, also known as Victoria is in critical condition in hospital after being “thrown” from the 4th story window of her apartment in NYC. We have very limited details on the nature of the attack or the attacker but we do have confirmation that Miriam was taken to hospital with multiple broken bones and internal bleeding.

  Miriam first came to notice in Joey Silvera’s DVD’s and made a huge hit on the scene in Transsexual Beauty Queens Vol 11. Bob was one of the few webmasters and photographers to capture her for his website Bob’s Tgirls in 1999 before she tried to go into more mainstream avenues.

  She featured in an Australian “Big Brother” TV show in Big Brother in 2001 but the 2004 UK show “There’s Something About Miriam” in which a group of unsuspecting men, compete to win her attention in a seedy “reality” show give her stardom and exposure, which many transsexuals aim to get but rarely suceed. Unfortuantely, to date it hasn’t led to other work offers in the mainstream media.

  We will continue to give updates on Miriam’s condition and the assault, as and when we hear of them. We wish her a full and speedy recovery.

  

• Anna Alexandre aka Madison killed in car accident, Florida 22nd Feb 2007

  Reports have came into the Grooby office from reliable resources that the model Anna Alexandre was killed in an an auto accident early Thurs morning, she was 27 years old.

  She was first photographed by Tony Vee in early 2001 for the Shemale Yum website which subsequently featured her ten times from 2001-2004. She featured significantly in prominent websites like Bob’s Tgirls and Shemale Strokers as well as a number of DVD releases.

  She was certainly one of the most well known and recognisable transsexuals on the erotica scene, in the period she was modelling, although she slipped from the limelight (at her own bequest) in the last few years, her photos have remained so ever popular.

  I only met her once, in 2002 I was in Las Vegas with Frank and the now deceased, Video Bob, where Anna was living at the time. We’d flown in Allanah Starr and Ivy for photoshoots and some how, we managed, I believe through Allanah to agree to spend the night limo’ing around Vegas with Anna, Bebe (cute Vietnamese post-op model) and the ever lovely, Saigon Lee. VIP’d into the best clubs as Anna was THE club kid, who knew every door manager and every waitress in the city. If I’ve ever felt like a star, hanging out with five of the best looking tgirls on earth, that was the night.

  From what I understand, Anna was estranged from her family but had friends all across the USA. Our thoughts are with them and we’ll remember Anna for what she was … a fun, party girl - a club kid whose heart was in the right place and whom, in my opinion was destined to shine brightly but to burn out too fast.
