Los Angeles, CA – Leading trans erotica and lifestyle company, Grooby, announced they will be donating an extra 5% on top of all model fees for every N. American and European model they shoot for their sites  to the recently formed Trans Adult Industry Foundation (TAIF).

“I believe by adding a donation to TAIF on each shoot we do will set a precedent to ourselves and hopefully other companies as a simple way to build an ongoing stream of money directly to the fund,” said Grooby founder Steven Grooby. “It’s also intended to display to the models we’re working with that each of their shoots has a direct impact on how much we can contribute back to the causes we support.  I’d love to engage other companies on this and see if we can make it industry wide in our niche.”

Grooby currently shoots between 500-600 scenes in N. America and Europe annually. With the extra donations from each shoot, the company hopes to raise over $24,000 this year in addition to extra fundraising activities.

Trans Adult Industry Foundation (TAIF) raises money, by fundraising and corporate sponsorships, to distribute funds directly to charitable organizations that provide life-affirming support services to the transgender population. This includes, but is not limited to, groups who work in housing, call centers, emergency shelters, and advocacy. The intention of TAIF is to provide resources to trans people, with a specific focus on the needs of the performers in our community. For more information, visit TAIF.org.

Please note as TAIF is not yet a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, any contributions to the organization are not deductible for federal income tax purposes as charitable contributions.
